The Result
It was time to purge the white and green old village vernacular for a fresh look that would still co-existing with the other homes in the estate. Changing the colour pallet of the house to monocrome gave the client a blank canvass to express herself through interior decorating. Solid wood was used in focus areas to break the monochrome pallet with splashes of colourful furniture to balance every room.
Removing the interior walls and installing a 7m steel beam opened up the living area into a lovely airy space. Frameless glass doors further enlarged the room to a generous entertainment space where indoor and outdoor become one. With the scullery and pantry tugged away behind the kitchen wall unit, the kitchen becomes an uncluttered sanctuary that is always showroom ready.
Two compact en-suite bathrooms embrace a contrasting black and white theme to compliment the two guest rooms. The ladies delight is the conversion of the old bathroom into s spacious Powder Room. ‘Guest bathroom’ simply wouldn’t do justice to lovely white pause space.
