Transnet Gate House

The Brief

Design an iconic gateway landmark to help shape the re-branding of the group.

The Challenge

The location of the site next to the vehicle entrance resulted in the building being seen from the back first. The building also had to adhere to stringent safety standards providing protection during riots.

The Result

The wings reflect the new Transnet logo while the off-shutter concrete and glass cube is a refined expression of the existing buildings in this industrial area.
